Give that blog some Metamucil!
Needless to say, I did not intend to immediately take a two-month posting sabbatical following my inaugural post. I will blame pressing deadlines and fatigue from racing between crunch to crunch for the past year. This state of affairs will change soon. I am dearly looking forward to getting a couple weeks to rest and `reset' internally. When the concept of `weekend' versus `weekday' has lost all meaning, and you start arbitrarily thinking a Wednesday feels like a Saturday, you know you've been going for a bit too long.
On the plus side, if I keep from blogging for another several weeks, I can continue to avoid getting sucked into the miasma surrounding the impending elections. I don't find political discourse fun at the best of times, in the current climate it is wearying to the extreme. I do not see touching politics much at all on this blog, and certainly not this year.
